Sometimes it makes sense to start by working with the parents or caregivers. In those cases, I usually meet with one or both parents first and invite in your child in when it feels right. We work together as a team to support your whole family in building more connected and resilient relationships.

Other times, a child or teen may need their own space to talk. If your child understands what therapy is and can make decisions about their care, they might prefer to have private sessions. That means they get to choose what they share, and their sessions stay just for them—unless there's a safety concern or we agree to share something together.

You’re welcome to book a free 15-minute phone consult to ask questions and see if this feels like the right fit. Or, if you're ready to begin, you can schedule an intake to get started.
